Overview

AfterASMR ("we", "us") operates afterasmr.com, a directory that links visitors to the official platforms of ASMR content creators. We do not host, stream, or distribute any video or audio content ourselves — every profile links out to the creator's own YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Instagram, or other official channels. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, and how it's used.

Information we collect

We collect the following, depending on how you use the site:

• Usage data. We use Google Analytics to understand traffic to the site — pages visited, approximate location (country/city level), device type, and referral source. This is collected via cookies and similar technologies.
• Profile view counts.When you view a creator's profile, we log a hashed version of your IP address for a short window to prevent the same visitor from inflating a creator's view count. We don't store your raw IP address or tie it to any other identifying information.
• Form submissions.If you submit a creator suggestion or report an error on a profile, we collect what you type into that form, plus an email address only if you choose to provide one (it's optional, used only if we need to follow up).
• Advertising. We may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

How we use this information

We use collected data to operate and improve the directory — understanding which creators and categories people are interested in, keeping view counts reasonably accurate, following up on submissions and error reports, and (where applicable) serving relevant advertising to support running the site.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third-party services to run the site:

• Google Analytics — traffic and usage analytics.
• Google AdSense — advertising.
• Supabase — our database and hosting infrastructure.

When you follow a link to a creator's official platform (YouTube, Patreon, TikTok, etc.), you leave afterasmr.com and are subject to that platform's own privacy policy — we have no control over, and aren't responsible for, how third-party platforms handle your data.

Cookies

We use cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and, where applicable, advertising (Google AdSense). You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time — disabling them won't prevent you from browsing the directory, though some analytics and ad personalization won't function correctly.

Your rights

If you're in the EU/EEA, UK, or California, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you (for example, an email address you submitted through a form). Since we don't require accounts to browse the site, there is very little personal data associated with a typical visit. To make a request, contact us at the email below.

Children's privacy

AfterASMR is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Some creators listed in the directory may publish content not suitable for younger audiences; these profiles are clearly marked.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
